not to mention..

as a minority in this country, it is a pretty incredible feeling to see a black man be elected president- by a landslide victory. i can only imagine how those civil rights  those that were living during the civil rights movement are feeling right now. in one lifetime to experience both segregation and forty (short? long?) years later the appointment of a black president, its really amazing. 

who knows what is to come down the road, "what change [we] will see? what progress will we have made?" after all, i have been hearing a lot of good things about the next shining star in the republican party, bobby jindal...
