technology is cool
tonight on 60 minutes, scott pelley's segment introduced a new technology, bci, brain computer interface. basically, your brain is connected to a computer via electrodes, which enables the computer to read your thoughts by the electrical charges your brain gives off when it is active. its amazing and heartwarming how this technology has changed the life of a man with als.

I saw this segment and was wondering if you were watching it as well.. guess so!
I think it's pretty amazing as long as the computer chip works accordingly. If not, it could be very dangerous and scary.
Under Obama, stem cell research will be allowed and funded, so hopefully, the stem cell can repair the damage of spinal cord. Maybe then we won't need computer chip implanted into the brain for people with spinal cord injury.
